Meet West Wilson, star of Bravo's hit show "Summer House"

Meet local Missourian West Wilson, a reality TV sensation on Bravo's Summer House talking about his roots, his TV house, KC sports, and more. Appearing on stage Friday at 6 pm & Saturday at 12 pm! West Wilson hails from Columbia, Missouri where he grew up alongside his younger brother, Henry, under their parents, Elizabeth, an OB-GYN, and Bruce, a former world history teacher turned cattle rancher. After playing college football as a Safety at Montana State, West successfully transitioned into the world of entertainment. Currently an on-air host and writer at Complex, West's journey into the limelight began after a serendipitous meeting with Lindsay Hubbard, who recommended him to join the cast of Bravo's "Summer House." Now in his second year of filming, West brings his vibrant personality and unique experiences to the show, adding an exciting dynamic to the house. West Wilson continues to make his mark both on and off the screen, captivating audiences with his charisma and multifaceted talents.

1. What are your must-hit stops while visiting KC? Whenever I go back to KC, there are four spots that I love to hit. They would have to be Gates BBQ, ⁠Arrowhead Stadium, Green Lady Lounge, and The Peanut. They all bring back great memories.

Paul Rudd


3. Tell us about your pet(s).
Frankie and Karl. German Shepards.


4. What’s your favorite season?
Fall – football and weather.

5. What do you love most about rooting for the Chiefs? It’s such a great community of people who are passionate and care for their team and fellow fans. I love pulling up over the hill on I-70 seeing all the tents behind a fog of barbeque smoke hours before kickoff.


6. What is your favorite type of music to listen to?
Hip-Hop and Indie Pop


7. What’s your next big project?
West Date Ever on Complex – show hosted by West where he interviews various celebrities.


8. Which Bravo star would you most like to work with and why?
Craig. He's crafty.


9. What do you miss most about living in the midwest? ⁠
It would have to be going to Waffle House with my boys. They don’t have any Waffle House franchises in New York City, and I miss them dearly.
